The TailTreck device uses advanced GPS technology with an accuracy of approximately 10 feet in optimal conditions. Location updates are provided every 2-5 minutes to balance accuracy with battery life.
Absolutely! The TailTreck device is lightweight (less than 20g) and attaches securely to your dog's existing collar. It's designed to be unobtrusive and comfortable for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large breeds.
The TailTreck device is water-resistant with an IP67 rating, which means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, we don't recommend extended submersion or swimming with the device.
